Sheffield Dyslexia Centre

Teaching, Supporting, Assessing

Who we are

Together, we the staff at Sheffield Dyslexia Centre have over 50 years of experience of working with children and adults with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties and further decades of teaching experience in mainstream and other educational settings.

A few years ago, we all worked for the national charity Dyslexia Action, based in the same building. A change in management and ethos resulted in our decision to leave and set up Sheffield Dyslexia Centre (SDC).

We offer free advice sessions. Come to discuss your particular situation and we will attempt to provide the service you need, whether this is in the form of just a little advice, an assessment, a short course of support or more long-term tuition.
